Effective Leadership
Where do you and your church need to be strengthened?
Do you realize the magnitude and wonder, the incredible gift beyond measure that we have by our Lord's work and sacrifice?
Where and how is your dwell? In your churches?
We may need to rediscover what Christ calls us to when we lead and manage His Church.
Too often people confuse a strong-willed personality as an effective leader, leadership is not being strong-willed, rather having a strong sense of purpose that is centered upon God. The church of our Lord needs leaders, not petty instigators. There are too many churches that substitute a petty person for a godly person and see no distinction, because the people who put them in power do not know the difference.
We prepare God's people! The purpose of any worker in the church is to build up the people for service, whether it is a nursery worker or a bishop, a pastor, or elder. We serve Christ. By doing this, we build up His church. If we serve with a preoccupation on 'self' e.g. "It is all about me, my position, my name, my legacy, my veneration", we miss the entirety of Who and why we are to lead and manage a church.
We are to be bold for Christ, not to our conceit. It is imperative that we live what we preach; being a hypocrite is a disgusting obsession in the face of our loving and gracious Lord as well as our witness!
How are you communicating Grace and peace to your people? Are you authentic and humble? If you are not, you are doing church wrong. Our number one job is to always point to Jesus Christ as the Lord over all. If you want to receive God's Blessings, Spiritual and whatever he has for you, you must do these things as we Praise Christ. Paul sends his blessings and gives a reminder that our purpose and reality is what Christ did for us; He is our redemption that we did not earn or deserve.
Matthew 6: 25-34, When we have our hearts centered upon what is really important, our real purposes and plans begin to function correctly, as our perspectives are in line with God's.
